Mom's Baked Beans

My mom makes the most delicious baked beans. When cooking on the grill one afternoon for the family, I decided to call her up and make an old childhood favorite. Her recipe is so simple and is always a crowd favorite.
Ingredients
1 Canned baked beans (Brand and flavor of your choice)
Thickly sliced bacon (about 6 strips)
1 small can crushed pineapple (drained)
Brown sugar to taste
Directions
1. Chop the bacon into small pieces and cook in the pot you are going to cook the beans in. Once browned, drain most of the grease.
2. Add the canned beans, pineapple, and brown sugar. Cook on low heat covered for at least two hours.
*This particular afternoon I made this recipe on the stove. My mom usually only cooks the bacon on the stove and then transfers everything to the crockpot and cooks it on low.
